HARVEST: February by hand.

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Pinotage.
 
SOIL TYPE:  Paardeberg Mountain sandstone, granite and shale.

VINIFICATION: Alcoholic fermentation was completed in steel, at controlled temperature, with frequent punching down and pump over, for colour and flavour extraction. Matured in steel tanks before the bottling.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Delicious on its own or with poultry, game and red meat dishes.

TASTING NOTES: Concentrated ruby crimson in colour, a full fruity wine with flavours of ripe plums and cherries, rich with a persistent finish with aromas of overripe berries, blackcurrants, and an earthy undertone, a harmonious balance noted and elegant structure.
